Saeed as the new Sindh
Rangers director general.
The COAS also appointed Major General Nadeem Anjum as the Balochistan Frontier Constabulary (FC) inspector general. According to Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Muhammad
Saeed has been appointed in the place of Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar who has been appointed as chief of general staff at the General Headquarters. New CGS Lt General Bilal Akbar comes with a vast experience of dealing with internal security matters. His transfer of indicates the new COAS would like to give priority to internal security.

Saeed is presently the Hyderabad general officer commanding. The post of DG
Rangers is of high importance because of the continuing Karachi operation against criminal elements, which began in September 2013. New Balochistan FC Inspector General Major General Nadeem Anjum has been given new re
sponsibilities in place of Lieutenant General Sher Afgan. Both officers will resume their new offices soon.

Saeed and Nadeem Anjum were promoted to major general from the rank of brigadier in January 2016. Earlier on Sunday, the Pakistan A
